Do kids really know that they need to start being "terrible" when they turn two? If so, Micah is very smart for his age. This morning Micah was naughty and had to sit on his bed. Instead, he buried his head in toys and whined. Seems very appropriate for his age.

Sunflowers
Last weekend we went to a Fall/Halloween Art festival. The kids made lots of interesting "art pieces". One of the things they put together (with a lot of help from Dad and Mom) was a sunflower necklace. We decided to plant the sunflower seeds in the backyard and hope we will have two sunflowers in our backyard each year. I thought it would be a nice way to watch the kids grow - I will take a picture of them next to their sunflowers each year. This year, all you see is them holding their sunflower necklaces in the back yard. The picture is actually really funny though, because they wanted to take the picture facing the house (which also had them facing the sun). Their faces are priceless.

Red eye
. . . would be more accurate than "pink eye". Micah is sick. He has "pink eye", an ear infection and a bad cold. Through all of this, he is still smiling and happy most of the time. His eyes got so red and swollen over the last two days that I had to take a picture. Also, tonight he was so exhausted (from being sick) that he fell asleep at 7:15 p.m. on the couch while I was giving Cal a bath. Those were all first time occurences (falling asleep on the couch, not bugging Cal and I while Cal takes a bath and falling asleep at 7:15). Poor guy!!
